We stayed in the nearby Radisson hotel, within a minutes walking distance of this fabulous restaurant! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is great and the people very friendly. Very good bartender who really knows his stuff! One of the few places in downtown New London that is consistantly good. more

One Saturaday night we went there for glass of wine and little snack. The place was full, the owner met all guest, there was live music and very good service. I visit a lot of places in New London but this one is the best so far. more

After happening across the other reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Thank you, all! This was a fantastic meal, worth every penny. Around the table, we had mussels, fried mozzarella, a Caesar salad, braised short ribs, veal parmigiana, and their "Italian macaroni and cheese" (gorgonzola and bacon, IIRC), and everything was plentiful and delicious. Italian is always a safe bet for a first date and this place does it right. I recommend sharing an entree for some extra romance (and the portions are definitely large enough!) more
