This is the restaurant we judge all Indian restaurants by and they all fall short. The food is really excellent, not over-seasoned, not gloppy and always very fresh. Each dish is better than the next, the sauces are delicate and aren't greasy or separated like many other Indian restaurants we have been to. Just GREAT! more

Have been to this place several times. Being Indian myself I can tell you there is Indian food and there is Indian food. Go to this place for the most authentic north Indian food in eastern Connecticut. Try the shrimp poori for an appetizer and if you are not impressed I would have to question your taste. this is the place we always go, the food is excellent and the people are really nice and remember you if you start to go alot. i've been learning how to make my own indian food, but i STILL go here coz i cant even come close! more

This little restaurant is the best Indian food I have ever eaten. It started small and grew to less small with the support of loyal customers ( Including myself ) who just can't get enough and keep coming back. The owners are the Nicest people I have ever met! YUM! My favorite take out meal is chicken tikka masala, onion bajia, raita (yogurt sauce) and chef naan from Northern Indian. I've tried Indian all around the area and this is the best! more
