For many years, this was my favorite. But, just ate there and now the portions are small and my whole belly clams were severely overcooked and red potatoes were undercoooked! more

We went there after a long while of not having been there, found it after a few tries of riding the streets of New London, and finally arrived there. It was GREAT!!! Whenever I am visit Home, Montville Connecticut, I have to go to Captain Scotts for the Hot Lobster roll, clam fritters and clear broth clam chowder....it is wonderful! I like that it is a little hard to find, that keeps it from becoming too touristy. Captain Scott's renews my New England soul!! more
