Bean & Leaf definitely has the best coffee in town, possibly the best coffee in the state, and maybe even the best coffee in New England (this coming from a total coffee snob). Although I am not a big tea drinker they have a huge selection, as well as food and snacks. Every time I am there in the evening... more

A few really great businesses have popped up in New London over the past few years and this is definitely one of them. They roast their own coffee right in the store so all the espresso and coffee drinks are amazing. The smoothies are made from real fruit and the panini sandwiches & salads are made fresh to order. Awesome.... more

I love coming to Bean & Leaf. Everytime I am up from NYC to visit my family in CT I always try and stop by. I'm big on organic food and when leaving Manhattan it can be a bit tough sometimes...thank goodness for this place! fantastic atmosphere, incredible coffee, attractive baristas, and delicious food. art and music from new london locals are displayed and available. there is a community garden maintained year-round by local patrons. additionally, they roast their own coffee in-store which only adds to the unique experience you get every visit. all in all, one of the best coffee shops i've ever been... more
