I have been going to this restaurant for almost 30 years, first when it was the Village Bakery. It is now a wonderful spot for well-prepared breakfast and lunch, as evidenced by the line of people waiting for tables on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A real "Simsbury locals" favorite. pretty expensive $15 for breakfast. Does include potatoes, toast, coffee, juice. Service staff is incredible - fast - funny - knows you and what you order after one visit. Lunch soups are good but very small portion - expensive. Lunch menu used to have more warm food but of late just sandwiches and salads - very artsy salads no good... more

We used to live in Simsbury, and had breakfast here at least once a month! We come back occasionally- but not on Sunday mornings- too crowded! We loved the variety of specials, fresh breads, and creative omelets that were offered, and often took home some bakery goodies like scones or muffins to enjoy the next day. This is not your... more

I've been to Harvest twice, and both times had to wait in a long line just to get a table, wait a long time before even being acknowledged by the waitstaff, and then had an even longer wait for our food to arrive (and it was only breakfast -- how long can it take to cook an omelette?). We absolutely LOVE this place! We eat here regularly and take all our out-of-town friends and relatives here for the best breakfast ever. Love Scott & the wait staff - if you go often enough, they anticipate your needs before you express them. Their weekend specials are all good - in fact, we've never had a bad meal at Harvest!... more
