I've get to the Longhouse 3 or 4 times a year, most recently on August 1, 2009, with my father-in-law. We're going again tomorrow night (Halloween!) The steak is top-notch. My husband and I were at the Mohegun Sun Casino last night which was a Friday and were tired of the other restaurant offerings there..so we tried the Longhouse. What a surprise! The best dining experience that we have had in a very long time. We got there just as they opened and no problem getting a very nice table.... more
For fine dining on a Saturday night, we expected to see more people dressed up (or at least no jeans & sweat shirts) We were there for a special occasion but many looked as if they had just wandered in off of the game floor. Reservations are recommended, as the wait time was at least an hour for those inquiring.... more
