My husband and I was just there and ordered a large pie and we brought it home and quess what ? We're from NYC and the pizza and italian subs were amazing. It's all about the food, not the decor here, and we plan to go back again. Perfect for a quick tasty dinner for a family with two young children. more

They may have the "best pizza on the beach" but their Cheese Steaks and customer service is atrocious. Someone needs to perform a flow analysis of the customers and redesign the space for a smoother, more efficeient and effective operation. At the same time, manage needs to re-evaluate the characteristics of their workers to be friendly with the clientele. I... more

We've been going to Surf's Up for as long as I can remember. I'm from the Philly suburbs so I was pleased to find a place that had great cheesesteaks and pizza. They use the best meat and rolls, chop and season perfectly. We've always found the wait staff friendly. The drinks are self serve and you get free refills.... more

Surfs' Up sells pizza by the slice and superb hoagies. A regular hoagie is 11-inches, the large is 15-inches. My wife and I easily make a meal on an 11-inch cut in half. Surf's Up has the best subs at the beach and their cheesesteaks rival Pat's and Geno's. The pizza is great too, much better than the garbage from Grotto's. The service is incredibly fast too. Just make sure you know how to order or the staff gets aggrivated. more

We have been going to Surfs Up since it opened, which coincidentally is as long as my wife and I have been going to Bethany with her siblings and parents. I remember the first years when they had the entire building as seating, before the little sunglass shop was shoe horned into the front corner. My children grew up eating... more

The highly-rated cheesesteaks were OK, with good quality meat. They hit you pretty hard on the drink prices, and then charge on the refills. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, and the drink guy seemed to be offended when I asked him to actually fill my soda to the top.
