Royal Treat serves a mean breakfast, which is so delicious. They close for an hour between breakfast and ice cream, so make sure you get there in time. This resturant is only open for breakfast and then offers ice cream until 10PM. Only accepts cash/traveler's checks. Very attentive service. Breakfast on the front porch was not as hot (climate) as expected. Food was good - it has a long-standing reputation for good breakfasts. The ice cream is absolutely delicious, and the scoops are HUGE! I had the banana split, which was enormous and it was definitely worth the money. We love the Royal Treat. While there is no shortage of ice cream on the boardwalk the Royal Treat is just that. Take a step back to the days of Ice cream parlors and sit on the porch and enjoy the Hot Fudge Sundae! more
Reminds me of an old time ice cream parlor. Nowhere else at the beach can you get such good ice cream and service for a fair price. MUCH better than an ice cream cone on the boardwalk! more
Without a doubt the best ice cream in Rehoboth. The service is great, the restaurant is impeccably clean and the ice cream sundaes are to good to put into words. What I thought was great, was that the tip jar is tucked away behind the counter, when I asked kids behind the counter about it being out of the way... more
