I have been coming to Houston's for years and it's one of my favorite restaurants. I mostly go the the one on Atlantic Blvd at the Intracoastal . You can always expect impecable service. Restaurant has mediocre atmosphere, acoustics are horrible, maybe because it was a saturday evening, could not have a converation with other dinner guests & the service wanting, especially when we ordered the special. It got worst when we ordered special $33 bottle of wine. The food was good, but not worth the ordeal. more

Houston's has always been a great place to grab a bite when touring out of towners, or older conservative crowd. During season except to wait 20-60 minutes for a table, but grab a seat on the outisde patio--and the minutes well swish by. Their wine menu is extensive and impressive to the say the least. Houston's is moderately priced, the food is good, and the place has a warm atmosphere. Good bar and bar area, would be great for birthday parties or business outings. more
