Blackened garlic chicken wings are as good as the bartender, Joanie in the Marker 8 bar. It had a cheers like atmosphere.
Food and drinks was great and the staff was very friendly also besides me and my wife my mother n law and her room mate also enjoyed there meal and drinks and of course the kids did too.
With the prices on the menu I thought this would be quality food. They've exchanged quantity for quality. Instead of plates we received platters. Too much breading on the food, too much fat on my husband's steak. It honestly reminded me of eating at Golden Corral. I do not recommend this place for someone looking for good seafood.
Went with my husband, my visiting mom and aunt. Our server was Donna and she was very attentive. We arrived just after the dinner rush so it was pretty quiet. We had the Fried Shrimp, 8oz. Sirloin and 6oz. Sirloin. We each had two sides and salad bar. We had a side order of clams which are fresh, local and... More
My wife and I had lunch here on a recent afternoon visit to Cedar Key. The restaurant is located upstairs. I ordered the all you can seafood which was $18.95. The seafood platter consisted of breaded shrimp which were good, steamed shrimp which was just ok, fried catfish was just ok, fried mullet which I did not like, stuffed crab... More
This was the first, and probably the last time we will go into this restaurant. First off, we waited at least 5 minutes to be seated, that was after 3 servers walked by us and said nothing, just looked at us standing there. Second, there was no air condition. They had fans sat in sporadic places in the restaurant and... More
I got the Cedar Key salad. I think the menu says it's a Cedar Key tradition. Lettuce, hearts of palm, candied dates, canned peaches, canned pineapple served with an ice cream "dressing." I'm glad I ordered the "dressing" on the side and another regular salad dressing on the side just in case I didn't like the "dressing." The hearts of... More
They probably portion a little to much. Patrons with no refrigerator nearby might feel some guilt. Or perhaps glut! Our food was excellent all the way around. The location could use just a little TLC, but the cheerful server we landed, our entrees, and that gulf view more than made up for a completely terrible experience we had down the... More
Upon arriving in Cedar Key, we stayed at a local Hotel, and obviously walked the charming downtown Dock St from their awesome huge public fishing pier to their local harbor. After checking in and out of each and every restaurant and pub, my husband and I overwhelming agreed that the Seabreeze on the Dock was the most friendly, safe and... More
Spent four days in Cedar Key and I loved every minute. First time at the Seabreeze was in 1998 and food was excellent then. Now in 2013 I finally made my second trip to Cedar Key and had to come back to the Seabreeze. Loved sitting by the water. The food was great and the people were friendly. I will... More
