If you are in a hurry, you are probably in the wrong town and definitely in the wrong restaurant. You absolutely have to be willing to wait and its worth it. The Blue Desert is the best dining experience we've yet found in Cedar Key. It's a bit off the beaten path, but walkable from "downtown" if you're so inclined.
