I've been to The Cafe at Books and Books at least a dozen times and it seem to be slipping lately. They changed their menu and it seems a bit bare. I used to love their menu but now I have to look over it 15 times because nothing really looks appetizing. They also don't have a decent dessert menu... more

Pricey but good food and the courtyard is absolutely tops during winter nights. Definitely stroll here after a dinner elsewhere in the Gables for wine and cheese or coffee and sweets. more
