Yes, the food is definitely Irish and if you know Irish food, it's not the most exciting cuisine in the world. However The Field does an excellent job with the food. My favorite place to have a Guinness and stew. Great atmosphere and food. Be sure to go when they have live music (weekends mostly)...it's an absolutely terrific time. You'll swear you're in Ireland. Very popular with the locals. more
From the moment I steped foot on the property in Fort Lauderdale I loved this restaurant. They have a wonderful outdoor area that you can relax with friends and have a great meal for a great value. The Field is one of my favorite places to go in South Florida...I've been dining there regularly since I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2006.
