Went here for ice cream after eating at Howard's on our last night in Venicethis time around. Recommended by our waitress, ice cream was very good--cafe is like an old 50's style burger shop. All kinds of crazy flavors like Manatee Poop! Will definitely return..prices looked reasonable for lunch dishes. more
The soups are home-made everyday. Their sandwiches, home-made cole slaw, apple sauce, etc is also made daily. The restaurant is owned by a family that works it almost daily. Have been travelling to Englewood for past 10 years and this August was the first time we managed to get to Lickity Split Cafe - and boy have we been missing out!!! My family love it here. Excellent service, great food. Kids love the booths and the memorabilia on the walls. Sandwiches and soup great, ice cream fantastic. Definately worth a visit. more
