So we are from Paris but if we are to spend $50-80 a head we expect decent food and service . The Hotel, (Hilton on the beach ) was excellent . Great place to enjoy outside dining, great food and terrific views. Their menu is traditional seafood with some innovative twists. Changing seasonal specials are always great and we eat here everytime we are in the area. Service friendly and professional. Bar staff good and welcoming. more

On the suggestion of the concierge at the Ft. Lauderdale Westin, we had a wonderfully romantic dinner at Charley's. Our waiter, Chris, was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave us great recommendations based on the daily selection. We had dinner at Charley's Crab during the first week of August. We thought the place had a good view of the inland waterway, but the food wasn't good. We ate there on July 20th right before sunset. Had a outside table overlooking the waterway and throughly enjoyed the view. The food was outstanding!!!!!!!!! I really mean this!!!!!! Nice restaurant on the water. A bit expensive, but great service and great food. On the night we dined, they had a Chilean Sea Bass stuffed with crab as a Chef's feature. This dish was awesome. The Concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant as I had a real craving for crab. We were in Florida so why not!? We had to cab it over, and took a water taxi back! Very cool!
