Arrived at La Bamba II, 20 minute wait......very busy...a lot of families with kids in tote. Very noisy inside, fast efficient service...chips with individual cups of salsa promptly placed on table...drink orders taken.Food was good, inexpensive--one person in party said the sangria could use some improvement.(I think the person just needed to imbibe more sangria) A casual place to enjoy... more

Standard Mexican restaurant. Large portions, tasty Margaritas. One often has to wait for a table, but the turnover is quick. The food is good and reasonably priced, but La Bamba is really not much different from any other large factory-type Mexican restaurant. The service is fairly quick, but for the times I have been there, not particularly friendly. more

Found this restaurant by checking out reviews on Trip Advisor and look forward to returning next time I am in Ft. Lauderdale. The food was very "hot" temperature wise, the way I like it!!! Once again, my dearest boss enlight me on where to dine in Fort Lauderdale... La Bamba is SOOOO unique! The cute handpainted displays on the wall, rancheras playing, great carne asada.... Hands down to a restaurant that, literally, was able to make me feel out of South Florida... more

We were recommended La Bamba by the hotel front desk and I thought who knows what hole in the wall they were sending us to. This was the greatest recommendation that we had all of our vacation. The food is excellent - we ate there 3 times during our one week stay. I totally recommend this restaurant for Mexican food. more
