We are locals here in Fort Lauderdale and even though there are a lot of good restaurants, the prices are very high for people who eat out a lot. But we stumbled on El Tarmarindo Cafe and have been very pleased. We have eaten here twice and will be returning for our third visit tomorrow night, taking guest with us.... more

Me and my friend Odette have visied Tamarindo at least 20 times and the food and service has always been excellent. This is one of if not the best Latin Restaurant in Broward County. I am lucky enough to work very close to this restaurant so it is in heavy rotation as a lunch option. I love this restaurant! They have the best service and churrasco steaks in Broward! When you first sit at a table, someone immediately brings you bread, chimichuri sauce, and water.
