We choose to eat at the Roadhouse Cafe on Christmas Day 2009 , at first we were put off by the location but as soon as we walked inside we knew it was going to be nice dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful, we have 2 small children which puts some people off but the staff were warm and... more

The Roadhouse Cafe is a sister restaurant to the one in Hyannis, Ma. on Cape Cod. That is where I first heard Joe Columbo's great trumpet work several summers ago. The same high standards of food and music are maintained here by daughters Sherry and Linda who run the place. I didn't get his name but you know the have... more

This is a gem. In all my travels this must be the best food I have had in Florida. Great staff and quality food. The only problem is where to find another to eat while in the area. Will have to check Trip Advisor. It's a hard restaurant to find but it's worth it. The music is also great. more

The name can be confusing, The Roadhouse Cafe in Ft Myers is not a roadhouse or a cafe. It is a Fine Restaurant. They call it " Casual Fine Dinning". Our friends are regulars and took us there last week. The Menu is Extensive, The Wine List is Full and the Entertainment is Great. Food and Service are second to... more

We found the Roadhouse about six months ago, and we are so happy we did! The food is always excellent, the owner (Serri) is always sweet and attentive. Most importantly, the food ROCKS! We just had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner, everything was awesome from the yummy bread with roasted garlic to the butternut squash soup to the turkey breast stuffed... more

A real hidden gem for jazz fans is the best kept secret in Southwest Florida. With some of the best jazz anywhere coupled with great food and an exceptionally comfortable atmosphere the Roadhouse Cafe is a winner on all counts. Whether you want a delicious meal or just a bite from the outstanding bar menu all accompanied by some of... more

Having lived in Fort Myers over 30 combined years, we were looking for a culinary adventure last night. I noticed that Roadhouse Cafe was listed #2 on TripAdvisor and thought with our dietary restrictions this is either going to be a hidden dive or a terrible experience. My guess is the name came from 1989 movie with Patrick Swayze about... more

We ate at Roadhouse last night for the first time after reading the reviews here. Hard to believe we had never heard of this place after living in Fort Myers for more than 12 years. The strange location between a thrift shop and a barber shop in a nondescript strip mall falls away the moment you enter Roadhouse-- from the... more

The Roadhouse Café, what can I say? This experience is a class act. You can expect ambience, diverse entertainment, classic Jazz and always a little something extra. The folks that own / run The Roadhouse, Mark and Sherry, along with Sherry's sister Lynda, are more like family. They present their wares with love, combined with their desire to please. Their... more
