The Sushi at Yamato is great...only the originator of the recipes does it better and if you know how to find him you will find the ABSOLUTE BEST SUSHI on Earth... The place is not the cleanest but the food is second to none in the area and the staff if friendly!!! more
We chose to try this hibachi over Osaka because of the dramatically lower prices and less crowded atmosphere. We were pleased with our chef, he was very entertaining. The food was also very good. Service was superb. more

This place may not have the atmosphere of some local japanese restaurants, but the food is delicious, and of good quality. The staff is friendly but service can be slow at times. This is by far the best place for sushi in Fort Walton. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Love the Darcy Roll, Super volcano roll and the seafood salad. Hibachi grill is great as well. Keep doing it right. more
