After one horrible experience we decided to try it again, just to see if it was a fluke. Service is the worst we've seen in Gainesville with the possible exception of Bonefish Grille, where we never actually HAD any service and left after waiting 30 minutes at our table without so much as a glass of ice water. I am a local Gainesville resident and I have eaten at Carraba's several times. The food is generally very good - though about half of the meals are topped with "lemon butter sauce", not the most health conscious choice. Even though it gets noisy, I can count on the food and service being exeptionally good. more
