Mama Mia has been a consistently a very good Italian restaurant. Great service and excellent food. Their Calamari Palermo is to die for and Eggplant Rollatini is a winner.
We were upstairs for a rehearsal dinner. The food was excellent and the waitress was pleasant but she could have used more help for such a large party. The parking is valet only & costs $5 when you leave your car & another $5 when you call for your car. This second payment is supposed to be waived when your... More
I went with my 2 sisters and my mother to this long time hollywood circle restaurant. The food was very good, we all got a different dish, I had the eggplant parmesan great garlic rolls presented before dinner. Wonderful service. We completely enjoyed our experience.
My mom raves about the stuffed lobster specials. I have had the giant meatball, lasagna, and steak, and were all well prepared and presented. The setting is upscale, but the prices are reasonable.
Everything for the décor to the ambiance was amazing. My new wife loves this little restaurant and would recommend to anyone who asks. Oh and I almost left out the best part..... The food is amazing to say the least!!!
Marvelous service. Beautiful looking. A bit of a wait for food because EVERYTHING is prepared fresh. Talk to Vito the manager. No rushing you out no matter how long you want to sit there and linger over a third cup of coffee.
We had a fabulous lunch today, at Mama Mia,-- using a discount charitydine voucher. This enabled the reasonable prices at Mama Mia, to be EVEN MORE REASONABLE. And, it gave me the opportunity,-- to contribute much needed money,--- to charity. Our waiter, Anthony, was wonderful and extremely accommodating. He immediately placed those wonderful (bet you can't eat just one) garlic... More
My wife and I had dinner Sunday night. We elected to order from the Specials Menu that was recited to us by our waiter. My wife chose the Italian Stuffed Veal and I picked the Bucatini Sunday Sauce. The hot crusty buns came drizzled with fresh crushed garlic butter and were soft inside. Salad came with the house dressing and... More
Recently visited this restaurant while on vacation in Fort Lauderdale. The atmosphere was nice, what you would expect for an Italian place. We did not have a reservation but were promptly seated. There seemed to be plenty of waitstaff. Ours seemed a little scattered but did okay. I had the chicken parmagiana which was nice and a huge portion. My... More
It's something not right with this place. First of all, the outside doesn't coordinate well with the inside of the restaurant in terms of design and decoration, it looks cheap, but pretentious. My friend ordered water and I ordered a glass of wine, the server asked my friend if he preferred bottled water or "tap water", unnecessary question. It is... More
