This place is great! My wife has dreams about the sandwhich, especially the bread. Not overpriced at all, same sandwhich costs $5 more everywhere else on the island. Do not miss eating at the best fish shack ever! more

Went to Key West last week and had to go by BO's Fish Wagon for this sandwich. We went by there on Tuesday and they were out of Grouper and were told to come back Thursday. It was worth the wait. B.O. stands for Buddy Owen, the owner of this famous Key West fish restaurant. We had the fried fish sandwich and the conch combo. Loved the conch fritters! The fish sandwich was also a generous portion of tasty fish. Lots of names written on the walls. No parking but close enough to Duval street and the downtown area. more

B.O.'s is a cobbled-together amalgamation of wood, license plates and alcohol. The place looks like it has been hammered together by hand, which gives it quite a bit of quirky charm. A local told us that this is the place for fish and chips. So being from Southern Cal where fish is as plentiful as Key West, here we walked. Never again!! So the place looked like one of my back yard forts from 1972... no big deal. If it's worth it so would be the gaulking of articles hanging everywhere.... more

But we stopped in one day last week. It truly epitomizes the eclectic Key West that we have come to know and love. The fried conch, the scallops, even the burger,and fries were all excellent. OK, the food was very good. However, with absolutely NO overhead expenses, one would expect either very low prices or very large portions. You get neither. This food, served in a beautiful location with a fabulous view, would cost about the same. My wife had a salad and I had fried shrimp and the bill was about $30. more
