We enjoyed the Green Turtle Inn. The fish was fresh and well prepared. This is a very good Keys restaurant.
Phenomenal food, attentive wait staff & a casual keys atmosphere with exceptional cinnamon rolls to finish your start to the day. Don't miss this Key's gem in Islamorada!!!
We had tried several places in Islamorada for breakfast and this is a great find. The food is first class and the servers are friendly. Wish we would have found earlier in our stay in Islamorda so we could have tried for dinner.
I'm sure you can eat fresh and well prepared fish in many restaurants in the Keys. The Green Turtle is no exception - the fish was fresh, cooked to perfection and generously sized. It was the gnocchi dish, however, that impressed us most. Ordered it on a whim as I'm no fan of gnocchi. It was fabulous! Dinner comes with... More
Green Turtle did the on-site catering for my 25th wedding anniversary celebration -- I have never had a better catering experience. Meghan, the catering director, is amazing! Such attention to detail, wonderful suggestions for menu (all while staying in the budget), and just a friendly outgoing person. In fact, she made me feel like my little special party of 8... More
had a delicious breakfast the french toast with toasted coconut and applewood smoked bacon was as good as our waitress said it would be
Ordered the Gnocchi & was delighted -- different and delicious. My partner ordered the Red Grouper and the fish is always fresh here. Others had the special chicken dish for that evening and enjoyed every morsel.
A great little restaurant with an attached wine, beer and spirits shop. We stopped for breakfast and we're glad we did. Plates are more than plentiful, made with fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection. Coffee was fabulous and waitstaff pleasant and personable. But, it didn't end there. On our way out we stopped into the attached wine shop. There we... More
We frequent this restaurant whenever we are in the Keys and it is always good. We stopped for an early lunch, late brunch on a Sunday. It was packed as expected but the food was worth the short wait. This time we tried the shrimp and grits and they were some of the best we have had, however, the french... More
Whenever my wife and I are driving to Miami airport from a stay in our Key West condominium, we stop for lunch in the Green Turtle Inn. Their reasonably priced menu is very good indeed, all the seafood and much more is listed. Should you be on vacation in Islamorada or, like us, passing through, do have lunch or dinner... More
