“Don't get burned - stay away”

With a group of 12, when the waiter pressed a french press to serve coffee. The press blew up sending glass and boiling hot coffee on one of us. She was burned badly and had to go to the emergency room. 2nd degree burns. Neither the restaurant, or the hotel, Gaylord Palms, have offered an apology. She tried to meet... more

Excellent steakhouse located in the Gaylord Palms Hotel. Top quality steak and seafood. Impressive selection of wines. Execellent service. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for: a wonderful dining experience! more

If you love a good steak, Old Hickory is the place to go. Good for all occasions - dates, birthdays, or family gatherings. Pricey, but the portions are large. The servers are also very friendly and knowledgeable. more

Whenever I can, I love the Old Hickory at the Gaylord Palms. Also try Old Hickory in Nashville, TN and Grapevine TX. They are all great, but each one has a different atmosphere more

The Old Hickory Restaurant is simply the best place to eat a steak and enjoy the everglades backdrop surrounding the place. The staff in this place were exceptional. They were very attentive and prompt. Their recomendaions were right on. more
