Indifferent service. We had to chase the vanishing aloof waiter for almost everything. The host had to find someone to get our check and to bring noodles to the table. This place has potential in regards to the food, despite the well undercooked beef that was served as part of our meal. However, the service is deplorable and I agree with the other review, Asians definitely get preferential treatment. Silver Pond restaurant is as authentic as it gets in South Florida. The wait is sometimes very long and there is little standing room. The food is truly authentic chinese and very good. The pricing is reasonable as well. My only complaint is that the service is subpar and it seems as though if you are not asian, your level... more
