stayed in Marco Island for a week and loved it!! we went to the sand bar nearly every night. The food is great and is a good price! Quick serving! Loved the chocolate cake!! Staff were very nice and kept on checking that everything was good. overall a very good place to eat. more

The food was actually decent, but the two roaches that I saw crawling next to our table ruined it. The place wasn't clean and was filled with a pretty rowdy crowd. more

We went to Marco for all of 5 nights and we found ourselves at Sand Bar three different times. The first time we went for a beer after dinner. The Sand Bar is where the locals go for great casual dining on Marco Island. It's a sports bar atmosphere, the food is awesome and the prices can't be beat. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have happy hour every day and specials on the weekends when you're enjoying your favorite sports games. If you go, ask for "Woody"... more

We have been going to Marco for over 25 years. Can't understand why this place keeps changing owners, but regardless.....the food is great. . Fun spot, could be cleaner, but what neighborhood bar restaurant wins the clean award? Fun spot to get a beer and have a sandwich, occasionally comes up with a very good fish item. more

Went to lunch...was on my list as a "must go" as I did not want to pass up the number 4 rated place on the whole island. Again it was "okay". The portions were big, no complaints about the food as I have had similiar elseware. It was okay but I don't see how there are only 3 other places... more

Just went there today and it's not great. The waiters seem like good people. The pizza is cheap, but it's probably a 4/10 stars at best. Really only a decent deal because it's half price today.
