Good food, but kinda pricey for what you get. Nothing "bad" negative to say about the restaurant. I like the fact that it is locally owned. Wait staff friendly & attentive. more
just got back from Navarre, went to East Bay twice, the food is just o.k., the first waitress was fine, service was good. second visit was poor, as before, food is just o.k., waitress was not. place was empty, yet we (just a couple) were seated directly beside grandma and grandpa and grandson, this seemed to amuse our waitress to... more
We went on a Friday night, somewhat early, and were seated right away. The selection was much larger than a seafood restaurant we went to the night before on Navarre Beach (Cocodries-not worth it). Our food came out quickly and was very fresh and delicious. We had crab dip, crab cakes, and chargrilled grouper. It was a great seafood experience,... more
The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. Very slow and we felt neglected. Arrived at 9pm and restaurant was about 1/2 full. Ordered drinks and waited 30 minutes for them to arrive. Ordered food and waited another 30 minutes for salads - no crackers, hushpuppies or anything provided during the wait also no drink... more
Our family ate at East Bay Crab tonight and had a great time. Our waitress Trish was cute and helpful, our wine Charles Krug Savignon Blanc was a great choice and the hushpuppies were delicious. We had the crab feast which was great for parents and kids and the fried shrimp was excellent (a light tempura style batter). The cajun... more
The adult food was excellent. Wife had bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp and I had grilled local catch. Both were fantastic and fresh. The sides included red skinned potatoes and hush puppies which were good. The setting was laid back and friendly. The service was good, especially with kids. The big downer was the kid's menu was the usual frozen fried... more
I visited on Monday night, arriving about a quarter of eight. The tables were about two-thirds filled, and I was seated right away. The menu surprised me a bit-- I've been to crab houses all over the East Coast, and their menu was quite thin. The crab aspect of the menu was a shadow of even the smallest crab house... more
The food was good, but the service was very very slow. My husband, newborn and I went on a Sunday night around 8:00 pm. We thought that we would be in and out with no problems at all. We got there at 8:00, ordered around 8:15 and received our food around 9:55 (40 minutes after ordering) and there wasn't that... more
East Bay Crab House (Formerly Toby's) is great. I used to live about 2 miles from there and went nearly every week. Very laid back but great service and food. Checker board table cloths with original artwork surrounds the walls and are for sale. The bar has a huge fish tank, but there is nothing fancy about this place. I'd... more
