WE stop in twice a week when our special band is playing. The Service is not great and each bartender makes the same drink different each week. While you are trying to listen to the band everyone is running around cleaning up and making noise. The manager (Albert) was sitting at the bar talking to a young lady and he... more

We were there during a week night. We had the mussels as an appetizer which were very good. The wife opted for a beef sandwich that she liked. I had the Ahi Tuna which I dare say was the best I have ever had. Cooked to a rare perfection instead of overcooked as so many places do, it could not... more

I was expecting to walk into a burger joint due to the name and outward appearence of Flip Flops...I was wrong! The food is upscale and full of flavor! I had a special which was herb encrusted NY strip on a bed of dumplings and seasoned shrimp in a red wine reduction, this dish was heaven on a plate! The... more

While vacationing in New Smyrna Beach, my husband and I went to Flip Flops on our first day of vacation. My husband had a Philly cheese steak sandwich, and I had the barbeque chicken pita pizza. Our food was great. Our waitress was courteous, pleasant, and on top of her game. She filled our drinks and checked on our regularly.... more

The mozzarella sticks were fabulous and the Alfredo sauce on the kids menu was the best Alfredo I ever tasted! Drink prices were extremely reasonable. more

Flip Flops is a joke of a restaurant. Everything was extremely dissapointing from the unattentive service to the terribly low quality food. The menu looks like a kindergarden class made it with 3 kinds of fruit worked into every entree. Very surprising that a restaurant that alleges to be high quality uses all frozen seafood, but charges fresh seafood prices.... more

We were at Fipflop's for lunch, while on vacation this July. We went because I read the newspaper article about Danny winning Hell's Kitchen. Obviously Danny isn't there anylonger. However, whoever prepared our meal could hold his/her own in any competition. We had the Dueling Sashimi appetizer, which was over-the-top awesome. My husband had the Boursin Bird sandwich, my daughter... more

Been three times now to the new location on SR44. First time, Ceasar with grilled shrimp was OK, Chicken on a pretzel roll was a revelation. Wonderful sandwich. Second time Panko-fried Mahi sandwich was a dream, wonderful. Ribs were a waste - what were they thinking? Third time revisited the Panko-fried Mahi and the Ceasar with grilled shrimp. Wow -... more

We had a nice dinner at Flip/Flops. The food overall was very good, service was a bit slow and unorganized. I would recommend this restaurant, but it is a bit pricey if you are traveling on a budget. more

Our extended family of 10 went to Flip Flops on our last visit. Our main reason for going is that the restaurant is housed where Shells used to be, and we LOVED shells. Flips Flops was good, the service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and we wanted for nothing. The food was okay, not great, but not terrible.... more
