We ate there for the first time last night...had the fish tacos...they were great...the beer selection is very good, but they could use another mexican/texan beer on tap (all they had was presidente, and it ran out)...draft beer was between $2 and $3 when we were there which is a big plus...I would have given a 5 to Clancy's, but... more
Our first experience at Clancy's and we would definately go back again. Okay the decor is cheesy, but the food is good and different from other places. I absolutely ADORE this place. EVERYTHING tastes SO delicious, from appetizer to main entrees, to salads... gosh. There is no denying it, Clancy's has some of the best Mexican grilled beef dishes in Volusia county. It's really too bad the small portions, horrible service, cheesy decor, and outrageously high prices ruin it. The ambiance in the place was quite nice, but had a strange mix of Mexican, Spanish and Floridian items on the walls. I had the pork tamales, they were just average. It did not taste Mexican, it just tasted south west, and I was looking for the real deep flavor and spice of Mexico.The refried beans were good though. more
I'm from Texas and have been living in S. Florida for a few years now. Clancy's is the best Mexican food I have had outside the southwest! If you ever pass though NSB you have to check out this place along with the fajita's!!! Enjoy more
