Its all in what you try here. I love their stuffed grouper. My mother 'n law loves the stuffed snapper. Now I had clams once that weren't open well enough and were soaked in butter. I thought I"d never go back again. But then I went and tried the stuffed grouper and I became a fan again. Its not heavy,... more

Went on a Wednesday night 5:30pm. Hardly anyone was there. Four of us sat at the bar and had a great time for the first 45 minutes. Eric the Wine guy got us hooked on some new wine too! Well that was the GOOD part. Now we sat down, ordered our food. The Onion rings were TERRIFIC! Then it all... more

My husband and I have had 1000's of great dining experinces at elegant/ pricey restaurants...but this does not fall into that category. For the price, the food is not worth it. My $30 filet wasn't even comparable to a $17 filet at Outback (sad, I know). The atmosphere was less than average and a bit uncomfortable. Service was OK. I... more

The lobster tails were so good, I really don't care or remember what the service was like. Plus a great wine and liquor list. Quite reasonable...I had surf and turf, my girlfriend a chicken dish, a few drinks each...came to about $80! Loved it recommend it to all who enjoy the finer things in life. more

My wife and I return to New Smyrna each winter and look forward to some very good restaurants. We had not been to Norwoods for some time and now we know why. It is terrible to say the least, just a waste of time and money. The place needs a redo it is stuck in time both menu and atmosphere... more

I have been enjoying norwoods for many years and have enjoyed the evolutionof the restaurant over the years. A restaurant that is still around after 60 years must be doing it right. I love the large selection of fresh fish and interesting daily specials. It keeps me going back for more. more

A nice preppy restaurant. Food is a bit overpriced for what it is. The old Norwoods with screen doors and ceiling fans had much better food and atmosphere. The have changed lots but made few if any improvements. I remember it from the 60's. more

Our extended family has been hitting the beach in New Smyrna for years and Norwood's has always been a favorite. With 3 teenagers, 2 college kids & 6 adults, we have a large age range (15 to 75) to satisfy, so variety is a must! We visited Norwood's twice on our vacation last week. Both times the food was great,... more

I have been coming to NSb yearly since 1987. Every year I have eaten at least once at Norwoods. I can honestly say that it has seemed to have gone down hill gradually since my first visit. Food is bland, small portioned and over priced. Service is hit or miss. Kind of sad because of its near landmark status. Area... more

Looked like we made the right choice, A dining room with mixed older diners, mixed with a few grandkids, all in the main Big Room, one of two rooms with windows. There were 5 more areas without windows that would seat many diners. We were there at 4pm on a Monday. Maybe 10 tables had people at them, including the... more
