chain pizza cant even be considerd in the same catagory, not to mention the delisious homemade pastas, lasagna, manicotti ect. i cut teeth on Abios pizza crust back in 1979 when the place opened, its still there for a reason, check around and see how many localy owned restaurants you can find who have been around half that long. not... more

On the positive side, the staff is extremely very friendly. However, I ordered a calzone, and it only had mozzarella cheese, but no ricotta. I eat at Italian restaurants quite often, and this was the first time I have ever had a cazlone without ricotta cheese. The calzone simply tasted like a rolled up pizza slice with no sauce. My husband and I had eaten there several years ago and were not impressed with the pizza or the service. We decided to give it another try as we had heard others say how great the pizza was. The second time was similar to the first except the service was better but we waited quite awhile for our pizza. more

I'm a local, and Abios is choice #1 for pizza, calzones, etc. Big Al is the owner. He's been here as long as I can remember. He's a marathon runner veteran and he can get you carbo loaded with some great tasting pasta. Looking for a cozy, warm restaurant where you can hear each other talk, and watch the owner... more
