If you are looking for fried shrimp or grouper, you've found it. Both are large, lightly breaded, and perfectly cooked. The sides are forgettable, but that's not why you go there anyway. It's true if you're looking for an upscale seafood or steak restaurant then you shouldn't go to Boon Docks. Given the back bay tailer park location, we went to Boon Docks expecting authentic back woods ambiance and fair.
