Like many St.Augustine restaurants The Prince of Wales is very small with limited indoor seating but it is very interesting. Authentic? How would I know, never been to England. Tasty? That I know. The Beef and Gunniess Pie that I had was very tender and surrounded by an incredibly flavorful mushroom onion gravy. Outstanding. My wife had fish and chips,... more

We have been vacationing in St. Augustine for 4 years now and are so happy to have found a place like the Prince Of Wales. We dine at the restaurant every time we come to St. Augustine (several times a year). Often, our family will visit multiple times over the course of our stays. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is... more

I had read all the great reviews about The Prince of Wales so my son and i decided to try it. The tables on the porch outside were full so we sat inside. The first thing i noticed was the beautiful carved bar inside. We started with the beer battered jack and bleu cheese sticks....very good. We decided to share... more

My wife and I were recently married in St. Augustine and we held a post-rehearsal dinner happy hour for our out-of-town guests at the Prince of Wales. About 60 guests were in attendance. We could not have selected a better place for the event. Our guests had a great time and I actually had to kick people out because the... more

Yum! We had stopped there for the bangers and mash, but they had sold out. I ended up with the chicken and mushroom pie and my husband had the fish and chips. We still enjoyed our meal even though it wasn't what we were looking forward too. The puff pastry on the pie was so good. The portions of food... more

We ate lunch at this pub on April 4. It is a small pub with about 7 tables inside and the same number on the porch. There were only 2 waitresses working so service was extremely slow. The food was fairly good. I had a Cornish Pasty that I really liked. My husband had the Cottage Pie and rated it... more

My husband and I paid $15 for fish and chips and could have easily shared a plate considering the huge portion they bring out. The Cod was very fresh and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is very british and fun. We highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner. Comfortably located on the historic street. more

We came across this establishment quite by accident. But will return the next time we are in St. Augustine. We live within an hours drive and I have told those I work with how good the food and service was. I have a hearty appetite and the lunch size fish and chips was more than I could eat and was... more

After reading a review here on TripAdvisor, I decided to give the Prince of Wales a try on my recent trip to St. Augustine. And I am certainly glad that I did! The seating inside is limited, but you'll find all sorts of great knick knacks and British accoutrements adorning all four walls (and even the ceiling!). The small staff... more
