If your'e in St. Augustine, don't miss this place. My girlfriend and I were walking towards the old parts for a beer (first on the agenda) when we saw the flags we knew we would be treated to a good dark beer and English hospitality. A black and tan and a wink from the waitress. Perfect. Then as we finished... more

Great selection of british ales, beers, food, including the strange but delicious british condiments. Fish and chips was excellent. Chicken and mushroom pie with pasty top was extremely good. Pleasant setting, some outdoor seating. Do not be put off by the "Property for Sale" signs -- they've been there for at least two years now. more

Tucked away just off George street is the Prince of Wales. And if you are a frequenter of authentic pubs, this one will not disappoint in its food and beer. But it is a small pub and fills quickly. Sitting on the patio is great. The service was great and friendly. The fish and chips were great. The curry sauce... more

The fish and chips with mushy peas or curry sauce is the best; great pies as well. My only issue is there is not enough drafts to choose from although I typically settle for a Gunnies which is very good. Sorry to see the place is for sale I just hope whoevery buys it keeps the same menu. more

Whenever I am in the mood for a bit of British pub food, I always go to the Prince of Wales. The pasties are so good I almost never order anything else, and the selection of beers is quite good. Parking is a bit of a bear because the place does not have its own lot, so I don't go... more

As someone from the UK I was interested in seeing how authentic this pub would be especially after some of the reviews. Easy to find just off Goerge Street the inside of the pub has all the usuall pictures etc you wuld expect to see in an English pub. A lot of people in the UK drink Stella so it... more

What a great afternoon I have spent enjoying traditional English food in an authentic Brit atmosphere. We had heard great reviews about this restaurant so decided to check it out. We were really excited to discover such great menu choices for both food and drinks. My boys loved the Sausage Roll and Black and Tan Onion Rings for their appetizers... more

We visited Prince of Wales July 2009 based on Trip Advisor reviews. We didn't really get it. The restaurant is a litttle back from the main area. It had an outdoor balcony and a small indoor area. There are a handful of tables inside. It's fairly cramped. My family is from England, so I thought I'd be more impressed with... more

Hi Anybody reading this. My name is Tony Woodward myself and my wife Sharon own The Prince Of Wales. We feel that we have to respond to this review of the Prince as a few details need to be added. Starting with "a little back from the area" means about a 100 feet off St. George street . "A hand...
