We loved Crabby Bill's! We went there for lunch when we got to St. Pete. We sat upstairs on the back deck overlooking the Gulf. Although it was in the mid 90's, it was wonderful to sit outside. I was worried based on other people's reviews but we had a great lunch there. Of course the oysters would be good as always, but my crab cake was also great - grilled, full of crab and very nicely done - as good as I'd make myself! My friend's mahi-mahi sandwich was also good. The service and atmosphere were wonderful but the food was horrible. We ordered the fried flounder and the all you can eat shrimp. Both were so greasy that you couldn't even eat them. What was strange is that the french fries were not greasy. They definately need to teach their cook how to prepare fish & seafood. more

We've eaten at other Crabby Bill's restaurants and this was definitely not our favorite. On the upside, views are great, service was wonderful. On the downside, food was mediocre, guest shop was sold down and the feel of this restaurant is more bar-like. more

Not a bad view in the place. Seems the SPB places are overly concerned with 'atmosphere' but it works here. I wasn't real hungry so I ordered the onion rings and old bay shrimp appetizers. I could not eat half of it. The onion rings were very good. Thinly sliced with just enough breading. I had at least 15 shrimp.... more

The fish is tasteless and of the prefrozen shipped in variety. Went there to watch game, beers and some beach seafood. Too constrained to enjoy a ballgame and the food is overpriced and under seasoned for prepackaged junk. Great bartender with enjoyable, honest personality. more
