We rode our bikes to the Lighthouse Cafe about 10 a.m. for breakfast this morning. It's slow season so there was no wait for a table. It's a small, cute cafe with photos and paintings of lighthouses covering the walls. Our drink orders were taken right away. The server showed up to take our orders within 2 or 3 minutes... more

This is the closest to home cooking for breakfast on the island. The food is great and the service is friendly and fast. We always eat here for breakfast when we are on Sanibel. Don't miss it! more

We've been a couple of times and the breakfast items were very good--a lot like you could make at home, but good. The broiled fish sandwich was very good--best tartar I've had in a long time. One of the best places on the Island for breakfast. Check out their daily specials. The Hungary Fisherman & Chocolate Chip Pancakes are two of my favorites. A little bit pricy but worth it once/twice a week. more
