Gramma Dot's is a cool dining experience. It is located in the Sanibel marina, and has a nice selection of food. Hands down favorite meal is their coconut shrmp - fried perfectly, with lots of taste. Can't wait to go back!! more

Gramma Dot's is my favorite restaurant in all of Sanibel Island! My favorite entree is the coconut shrimp. They are so tangy and crispy and pu cannot find better ones in all of florida. The tables were so close together I wanted to leave as soon as I arrived. We ordered drinks appetier crab cakes and the broiled grouper sandwich. Stale bread, sandwich had no flavor. We arrived early for lunch on a weekday, and its a good thing we did. Food was good, reasonably priced, service prompt and restaurant crowded. We had great anticipation about eating at Gramma Dot's Restaurant but were greatly dissapointed in the tasteless crab cake sandwich. I go to Gramma Dots whenever I'm in Florida and every time it has been great all around. The coconut shrimp is a must and several of there salads are the best anywhere! It is a must visit if you haven't been to the island before. more
