We always go to Doc Ford's at least once on our trips to Sanibel. The food is always great, and the prices are reasonable. If you like Rum, try the Zaya. I also love the Doc Ford novels, and it is always exciting to see Randy Wayne White there! more

Doc fords is by far the best restaurant on the island.. The prices are competative/more reasonable that most of the others and the food is REALLY good.. I loved the yucatan shrimp on 2 separate occasions and my husband enjoyed their cuban sandwhich. Drinks were not weak either.. Definatly # 1!! more
