4pm to 6 pm special Crab Stuffed 6 oz lobster with grilled shrimp, 3 - $1.50 draft beers, greek salad, new potatoes for under $25. Everything was super fresh and cooked to perfection. Could not have been happier with the service and the meal. more

My wife and I barely enjoyed our early dinner (4PM, on Sun. 18 Oct.) at the restaurant. Five, 20 somethings were at the bar -- one male in particular announced himself loudly and constantly (at least 10 times ) as a New Jersey Northerner that "hates the South," using F words, MF's, GD's, and plenty of other foul and filthy... more

As a local I appreciate finding a reasonably priced lunch. The salmon with dijon caper sauce is excellent! All lunches come with 2 sides and a bread - which, by the way, hushpuppies are yummie and fresh. Pat, downstairs in the seafood market will give you a great deal on some fresh seafood to take out - and the smoked... more

Our last night in Santa Rosa Beach. So Dad takes kids, (18, 20, 23) to Goatfeathers for dinner. Arrive at 7:15. Smell coming from back of first floor seafood market reminiscent of a Maine lobsterman's brine tank. Go to second floor to be "greeted" by a not so friendly hostess. Shown to our table where an even more unfriendly wait... more

A great place to bring the kids, we went to Goatfeathers on a Tuesday night at the end of July in 2009. My wife and I brought the two kids and we enjoyed a great dinner. We had a great table that was sort of off to the side, and we didn't feel rushed or bothered. I ordered the stuffed... more

I am a local and wanted to take my family from Chicago out to a nice local restaurant. We waited about 20 minutes to get our table. Everything from the appetizers to the salad to the main course was a complete disappointment. The prime rib I had was so bad tasting, I couldn't even finish it. The snow crab my... more

If you go for anything, let it be the happy hour deals. Last week, my fiance ate 5 dozen oysters, had 6 beers and came out for less than $35! The 4.99/dozen oysters has got to be one of the best deals out there. Also during happy hour, order the shrimp. For around $4 you end up getting almost a... more

The food was perfect! An I am very picky, so coming from me, that is a big deal. We bought a $25 certificate that was deeply discounted from restaurant.com, so that made it even better. Where else can you get a really nice nice dinner for 2 adults for a bout $25? The atmosphere was great too! more

The first time we went the odor on the first floor gave us pause, but the restaurant is on the second floor and our whole family very much enjoyed it. Good food, very personable staff, and a local feel ... did not feel touristy. My daughter says they do chicken well, the Goatfeathers special salad was good, and we all... more
