My family and I went to the Seminole Heights location last week for the first time, we had no idea that they had opened a location on Florida Ave. I had been to teh S Tampa location years ago. Just around the corner from our house its an easy walk and it is finally nice enough to enjoy their patio. We were stuck on the NY style for the longest time until a friend introduced us to their calzones. Divine. Great quirky atmosphere and friendly service. more
Cappys in Seminole Heights neighborhood has very slow, or no service. Pizza here is average. I suggest trying another location unless you enjoy waiting. more
I recently moved to south tampa, and had dinner at Cappy's pizza, i was provided great friendly service! I like the funky interior, its a relaxed family atmosphere, all the employees at Cappy's are cool and seem to enjoy working there. i've been back 6x since my first visit i have tried both the chicago style and new york style... more
The pizza here is incredible. It has a flaky, thick, delicious crust (much like a pie crust). It is definitely meant to be served Chicago-style. The Greek salad is the best I have ever had, served with lots of feta, kalamata olives and potato salad. There is a nice selection of ecletic botted beer too. more
One of my favorite places to eat. Great pizza. The NY style is cooked well done. Try "the Cappy." The service is sometimes better than others, but overall it's usually pretty quick. more
