Flew in from Kansas City at Noon and couldn't check into the Hotel until 3:00...so went to this place that Trip Advisor said was some of the Best Sushi in Tampa FLA. You all weren't kidding...this is probably THE best sushi I've ever had. Very good rolls, and some of the most excellent cuts of Salmon and Tuna I've had.... more

Matoi is hands down the best sushi spot in the Tampa Bay area. Located in a pretty nondescript building on the Dale Mabry strip, the sashimi is top notch and the rolls are inventive.
