After a long day of beach hopping. Sarasota to Venice this place hit the spot. Come as you are... no need to scrub off the sand and sea weed. Live raggae music, fish tacos and we sat right on the beach. It was just perfect! The service was excellent and the price was right. more

We went for lunch and back again a few days later, mainly because it is on the beach. They won't split checks - which thankfully we knew ahead of time. Grouper Sandwich is ok, not the best. We live in the area but most of our visits have been for lunch with visitors from the North. It's not that we don't like the place, but being retired and living here, atmosphere is not the biggest concern when we eat out by ourselves, cost is. A bit pricey (for us anyway) but great location and always great service. more

I've had really good appetizers here and some not so great entrees. The fish tacos are the worst I've ever had. Absolutely lack any zing or flavor.
