We had dinner outside on the deck. The view and the breeze from the gulf was amazing. It just makes your meal even more special. The food was good too. I think the location is what makes this restaurant. The food and service were good but definitely on the pricey side. I would definitely go back again more

It can sometimes be the day, the waiter, the kitchen staff shortage...whatever. All I can tell you is that our Crow's Nest visit was awesome. Lived in Venice for a year but this was our first visit. Very high quality food, excellent service and a gorgeous view of the bay...and it all comes with a very high price tag. I guess they have to pay for that pricey property somehow. Want the best of all worlds without the extreme high price? Try Marker 4 restaurant in Venice. more

The food was good but very overpriced. Upstairs food attempts to be upscale but the olive oil for dipping the bread was bitter (poor quality). Disappointed with our visit. Great waitress and location overlooking water could not make up for the worst Caesar salad ever and overpriced, nothing special main course. Had to reach in alfredo sauce to remove the shells from the shrimp. more

I was expecting a bit more. If you go early evening, be sure to get there early enough to watch the sunset from the parking lot down the street. They provide a shuttle to and from the restaurant if you don't want to walk. It's not that far. The atomosphere and decor are really nice. The food is most excellant.... more
