Owner was not nice to grandma and grandpa when they asked tp speak to him on the bill. Very bad service and very unsanitary bathrooms.looks good out but in very bad kitchen food. more
This place is pretty horrible. Not only do they keep food past the exp. date, but they push it as the "daily special"...me and my grandma got very ill from their egg salad. Great eggs benny, but if you saw the back of house you'd throw up. Obviously cutting cost is the main priority... more

We have been to many places in Venice, Fl but none compared to Altheas! The menu was wonderful with fabulous specials. We always recommend Altheas to all our friends.Great Food, friendly staff and good prices . You can't beat it! more

Can not stand the weekend season crowds. Go after 7:30 and take your time. Great wait staff,Friendly,helpful and knowledgeable.Chowder is the best in town. You never go away hungry. The bar gives you a hell of a drink. Try the new man cave on the west side A great meal for the money more
We are Sarasota residents, and decided to try this restaurant after seeing their weekly full-page ads in the local paper. We won't return. The service was acceptable but the food was of very poor quality. Not a place I care to visit again. more
Tried it again and had no better luck. Bad salad, lackluster service. If there were more restaurants in Venice, this place would have already closed. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. more
I have always had great service and excellent meals here. If you are coming to Venice, THIS is the place to go. more
