We've been to TJ Carney's a few times over the past 5 years while vacationing in Venice and enjoyed the food. However we were VERY disappointed this trip. Steak was like shoe leather, veggies were bland. We can eat just about anything but I couldn't get thru my steak. Perhaps just a bad day. Maybe TJ's is better for sandwiches... more

While visiting Venice, FL, we ate at TJ Carneys for dinner. It was a very nice place to eat. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. We went back for lunch the next day. more

We're locals to this town. We've gone to this restaurant in the past and it was OK. Not wonderful, but certainly not one to write off. We spent an enjoyable hour here on Easter Sunday. Everyone's food was awesome from the portabella mushroom chicken sandwich with the roasted red pepper, the chicken strips to the irish reuben.
