We have been to this restaurant twice this week while vacationing on Venice Island. First tine my husband and I both had the briscuit sandwich - YUM! This is definitely the best deal in town. My husband and I had one soda, two beers, two rib dinners with all the trimmings and a homemade key lime pie and the bill, with taxes was $30. Gold Rush is well worth the drive from Sarasota about 15 miles south. Best BBQ around. From the Brisket to the Catfish to the Homemade pie. Service is great, very attentive.
