I was very surprised to see the previous comments about Montes! We love going to the restaurant. They have great food, an extensive wine list and it is by far the best for the price in the Vero Beach area. A celebratory dinner at Montes turned out to be a major disappointment for all my guests. The arrogance and presumptuousness of the wait staff was a real mood killer. Our waiter insisted, against my wishes, that he recommend a wine “within your budget.” At no time did I ask for his recommendations and never indicated a budget. Frankly, all members... more

We were a little disappointed in the cuisine and service.......overpriced. Felt crowded. The service was lacking. Had to ask the waiter repeatedly for needed items. When in Vero Beach there are much better places to dine. more
