We have been eating at Okeechobee for years and have never had a bad meal. It's a local's hangout where you can be comfortable in a dress or jeans and flip-flops. Yes, there are fancier steak places but Okeechobee's Delmonico is still the best. Never had a bad meal here and the prices are reasonable considering you get salad (even a decent Caesar or salad bar) plus side included. It's not Berns in Tampa, but it's our favorite when we feel like a nice hunk of charred meat! more

Everything I have eaten here was always fantastic. Steak, lamb, pork. Great service always. A bt pricey and they have increased their portions so that the smallest steak you can get is 14 ozs. more

My steak was great, but my wifes steak and shrimp...not so. The shrimp had an...odd flavor. It had a "fishy" taste...more than I thought it should have. It made my wife gag a bit...her steak was a narrow piece, but still thick. Done medium well...a slight bit of burn on the edges. Not sure why it had that flavor...might just... more
