I'm a gringo married to a colombiana. I've visited colombia several times. We paid a visit to La Pequena Colombia for dinner on 8/22/2009. I had ajiaco w/ the usual capers & cream ,& my wife had a whole fried fish w/ arroz con coco, patacones, & salad. Both were delicious. Exactly as we've had in colombia. TRY IT...YOU'LL LIKE... more
Ok....food here is definitely authentic Colombiano in every way imaginable. My wife is 15 weeks pregnant and she is Costa Rican...loves Latin food as you can imagine. La Pequena colombia was recommended to us by a friend. Excellent food. Service is very good too. What I don't like are the seating arrangements. A Colombian friend took me to the restaurant for the first time. I had never tried Colombian food before, but it turn out to be delicious. Everything in the restaurant was amazing especially the food, the desserts, the decoration of Colombian art and the beautiful women. From all the dishes my favorite are the steak and the grill chicken. more
