With so many "cookie cutter" resturants out there, it is so nice to have a place to dine that serves real home style food with a very appealing atmosphere. With the addition of outdoor seating this should make a great destination when the weather gets cooler. more

We decided to spend the july 4th weekend looking for some "small town charm" which we found for the most part; but, we were greatly dissapointed with our "lack of an experience" from the Appalachian Grill. We arrived for a much anticipated meal at 7:45 pm the night of the fourth only to find out that they had decided to... more

The servings were generous; the salads were GREAT (and we don't like salad much). The food was fresh and hot; we ate in the bar, and we were impressed at how the staff worked together to help the bartender. All in all, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, and we will return. more

My adult son had the shrimp and scallops, I had the Bourbon grilled salmon, both were excellent. Salads were really good with the house dressing. We had a roasted portabelo appitizer that was unique and deliciouse. The portions were plentiful. A good selection in the bar. Service was topnoch. I only wish we had room for desert. I liked the... more

My wife, daughter and I visited AG last night and were totally disappointed!!! Their signature dish "The Appalachian Grill" was a disgrace to a cook and most definitely a Chef! Their home fried potatoes were from a frozen bag it seemed and the shrimp and scallop skewer was a joke, then they add a brat and smoked sausage to the... more

............ until I read these reviews. Since it opened, I have always loved the food at the A-Grill. I have told countless people about its' charm and the delicious and different entree selections. i have probably eaten there 50 times, and while the food is good for the most part, the service is consistently slow and shallow. There have been... more

I "googled" Appalachian Grill because I wanted to see if any information was on the internet that provided any insight that I may not have regarding this establishment. I live in Cartersville and have always enjoyed going to the restaurant. I have encountered a disconcerting situation, although cooperation in the matter has been received on both occasions. I have never... more

My title says it all. This restaurant has everything you could want - great atmosphere, great service, full drink menu, booth seating, and most of all AMAZING FOOD. There is nothing so/so on the menu - all of it is excellent. The Chicken Francese (once called Chicken Piccata) is a personal favorite. The fish is fresh and the salads, in... more

We went there for lunch after visiting the Booth Musuem. Our plan was for another restaurant, but it had closed for an emergency. The place is "cute" with a pleasant appearance. The waitress was friendly enough, but couldn't seem to get the order right....one of three of us got the wrong dish entirely, and when it was called to her... more

I had heard quite a few friends complement the food at this restaurant. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews here. My friends and I had lunch there yesterday after visiting the Booth Museum. We were seated promptly and the server was friendly. Two of us ordered the special of the day and it was good but not... more
