It is a good place for dim sum. I went there with my friends, it is typical dim sum place, similar as other places. Overall it is good experience.
Eating at the Oriental Pearl is hit or miss. I have gone here 6 times in the past 2 years. Some days you will be able to get food quickly. Some days, the food is slow or cold. Overall for the price, it is worth a try.
A variety of Dim Sum rolled around in carts. Nice to see it before you order it. Always fresh and delicious. Get there early to get a seat. But if you have to wait, it is well worth it. There is always someone who speaks English. They are very helpful. Service is very good. Bring your appetite.
My family and I have been coming here for years, our trips to Atlanta are not done until we've dined here. We always do Dim Sum on Sunday morning and it's fantastic. The place is packed and it can take a little while to get seated but once you are, the food comes fast. Servers roll the dishes out on... More
I took my friend to this restaurant and we were both stunned by the ambiance and the service. It is a must do restaurant. It is off the beaten path but an excellent restaurant. My friend had the Steamed Ribs with Black Bean Sauce and I had the Shrimp with Cashews both was served with white rice. The Steamed Ribs... More
I have eaten here quite a few times. I use to live in Hong Kong for a short while. This is the best I have found in the states (San Fran and DC China town included). The service here is awesome- ALWAYS! I love how they cook so much with XO Sauce. I can't wait to return. So fresh, so... More
Many waiters and waitresses; the service has improved so much since the last time. The food is always great; I have never been dissapointed. A bowl of Phoenix and dragon soup was plenty for three. The sirloin beef was very tender that it almost melt in your mouth. The black bean clams was spiced just right even though I asked... More
My family ate dinner at Oriental Pearl last week. We ordered off the authentic Chinese food menu (in Chinese at the back of the menu), but found the "authentic" Chinese food to be greasy and mediocre, at best. The worst thing was the unprofessional scam that one of the staff pulls on customers. When families are close to finishing their... More
I don't know where these other people were, but when I was there service was non existent. I never did get to order a drink. The dim sum carts are far and few between. When you ask, you get the 'they coming out'. It was overpriced for the average food. I will give it points for a nice atmosphere and... More
